From the Silent Auction Team

Coming Up: the Summer Silent Auction

The annual St. Stephen's Summer Fair will be held during Pittsfield's Old Home Day on Saturday, July 17, from 9-2. We plan to highlight the Silent Auction with a variety of high quality items, events tickets, and gift certificates with a summery theme.

As with all our silent auctions, this one will only be as good as the items we have to offer. We look to our church family and friends to contribute donations. If you don't have a suitable item, perhaps you know of a business that would donate tickets to an activity or a gift certificate. If none of those ideas works for you, we would be happy to accept cash contributions with which we can purchase a missing item to round out one of our auction groupings.

We need to finalize our offerings list soon in order to have time for the prep work required to run a successful auction, so if you can help, please email Marylee Johnson by June 27 or see Marylee or Connie Mitchell after church next Sunday. Cash donations can be made out to St. Stephen's Church with "auction" written in the memo line.

A Silent Auction Preview is planned for church members on Sunday, July 11, so be sure to attend and put in an early bid for something that appeals to you. We will accept sealed bids at that time if you can't make it to the fair on July 17.

Thanks for your help!
